OVERVIEW
Efficient Electrical is an electrical company that first started in 2022. The mission behind the company itself is first and foremost to provide quality, providing high-quality products and services is crucial for building a positive reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction. The second being innovation, since many electrical companies strive to stay at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry. Embracing innovation can lead to the development of new and improved products and services. Finally, there is the concept of reliability, as companies often emphasize the reliability of their products and services. This is especially important in sectors where interruptions or failures can have significant consequences, such as in power distribution.
DESIGN CHOICES
The thought process behind the Efficient Electrical logo was curated to convey a strong and trustworthy brand identity. The use of Nexa Bold typography brings a modern and bold flair, reflecting the company's commitment to innovation and precision in electrical services. The color palette, predominantly incorporating light blue, was chosen to evoke a sense of trust, reliability, and calmness.  In doing research into other competitors, they had this same idea in mind, as with any electrical brand, their main focus goes towards bringing people a reliable service. 
In developing their logo, it was necessary to include an element that is heavily associated with this type of work. The focal point ended up being the lightning bolt, as it’s not only commonly associated with this line of work, but it’s incorporated within the typography in a way that isn’t distracting and it maximizes recognizability. As far as typography, the sans-serif typeface Nexa Bold was utilized due to its bold and modern appearance. The clean lines and versatility make it suitable for conveying a sense of reliability and innovation. Pairing it with light blue in the primary color palette enhances the brand's image by combining a professional aesthetic with a calming and trustworthy feel. This blend aims to communicate a balance between technical expertise and approachability, aligning well with the values of the company itself.​​​​​​​
MISSION STATEMENT AND VALUES
With the values in mind, it was my mission to develop a cohesive concept that brought everything together. The challenges when developing the final concept were coming up with something that tied all of these values in mind. All three of the aforementioned values mentioned in their overview have a correlation to the color palette I utilized in the final concept. These values are emphasized in the brand's mission statement, which is "Empowering Tomorrow, Today: At Efficient Electrical, we illuminate the path to progress. Since our inception in 2022, our mission is to deliver cutting-edge electrical solutions with unwavering consistency. We are committed to safety, sustainability, and superior quality, we provide high quality solutions, and redefine the future of electrical excellence. With a legacy built on reliability and a vision focused on tomorrow's energy landscape, we energize a brighter, more sustainable world for all."
ISSUES ENCOUNTERED
Problem: Efficient Electrical may face challenges in standing out within a competitive market where numerous companies offer similar services, and having the aforementioned values. In an industry such as electrical work, it was going to be a challenge to make the brand stand out especially where people want a service that is reliable and consistent. Finally, there is getting the message of establishing trust with each and every customer they come across. 
The question that was circulating while developing this case study was about brand recognition:
"How recognizable is the brand aiming to become, and what strategies can be implemented to enhance brand recognition?"
Solution: The final product was meant to develop a distinctive visual identity, through a unique logo combined with consistent branding elements, to enhance recognition and set Efficient Electrical apart from competitors. As far as strategies that helped reach the final product, it primarily involved research on competitors and seeing what would make people want to go to Efficient Electrical over them. ​​​​​​​
